Alternatives To Suicide is the only group of it’s kind, in the United States that was created For and By persons with previous suicidal ideation and/or attempts. This group was created by the Wildflower Alliance. You can find out more about them HERE.

We understand that suicide is an attempt at a solution rather than the problem itself. We utilize dialogue to uncover deeper causal roots towards healing.

2023 Statistics

  • Suicide is the 11th leading cause of death in the United States

  • 2nd leading cause for those between the ages of 15-24

  • Men aged 75+ are at the highest risk of suicidal ideation and attempts

  • 1 person dies by suicide every 11 minutes

  • 2024- we lost 150 first responders to suicide

  • Adults are 3x more likely to also complete suicide if they lost a loved one to suicide

  • Children are 4x more likely to complete suicide if they lost a parent to suicide
